Getting to windows xp's users folder on windows 10 through external hard drive

So my friend's mom asked me to get some pictures off of her old Windows XP machine. It wasn't showing anything on the monitor so I took the hard drives and put them in an external enclosure. They showed up but I couldn't find the users file. I've heard it was also called "my documents" but I can't find that either. Is there a way to find it through this method?I also put the hard drives in a working computer, but it kept bluescreening when booting.
