I cannot find a font family I'm using in Adobe Illustrator in my Windows/Fonts folder

I have to provide a font that I used on a project (in Adobe Illustrator) to my client, so I'm trying to locate it the Windows/Fonts folder on my computer... when I search for the font, it does not appear... the font family is very large, with a lot of different style options, so I have no choice but to use this font... any help/insight would be appreciated!
