Is there a character limit to the comment property in windows file explore?

As the title states, I am wondering if there is a limit to the amount of information I can store in the comment property.With this I mean, if you right click a file in windows explorer, go to properties, then open the details tab, one of the editable fields is 'Comments'. I want to store some info in this field for mp3 files and for some files it might be quite some characters...Thanks in advance!
