Sound is produced from the tv but not from the back panel speakers and headset

Hi, when I connect my pc to the sony tv via an HDMI cable, the tv produces sound (e.g. I hear sound watching a youtube video). But when I want to use my speakers or headset by plugging it into one of the six plugs (green, black, blue, etc) from the back panel of the motherboard, no sound is produced from my speakers or headset. Also, the speakers icon from the sound panel is greyed out and I cannot choose my speakers as the default, as shown below. I reinstalled a clean windows 10 and used the drivers from the ASUS motherboard manufacturer. I checked the system devices on the device manager to
