Error when trying to install windows 10 using media creation tool

so, i'm trying to perform an inplace upgrade using the media creation tool, but it turns out I got this error. any idea on what I should do now? or how to fix it? i followed the steps using this website but it gave me error code 0x80070005. anyone know why this happened or how i should fix this We've set your PC back to the way it was right before you started installing Windows 10.0x80070005 - 0x2000CThe installation failed in the SAFE_OS phase with an error during APPLY_IMAGE operation
