The KB5008212 update to my Windows 10 21H2 is the first update I've ever had to uninstall. Right after installing, I noticed that a number of my startup apps failed to load after a restart. I noticed this first when looking at my system tray, but saw in Task Manager that these apps were no longer in the list under the Startup tab! I went to all the missing apps, relaunched them, and in some cases, I had to reselect the option to load them at system start. The first time it happened, I thought it a fluke.
