"Access is denied" for a administrator user for a volume from another machine

Hi,I recently moved a volume from one machine (crashed) to my current machine as a secondary. I am able to view the drive in Windows Explorer. But when i try to take ownership for the drive in Elevated Mode, it gives Access Denied. My current user is in Administrator group. I also tried to use the Command Prompt (as Administrator) and try to use takeown with /A, but it is gives Access Denied. The same when i specify the username in the takeown,I checked using SysInternal tool accesschk64.exe and i found that this is the permission for that volume RW NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM RW S-1-5-21-XXXXX-XXX
