Since latest Windows update none of my online games work

I was wondering if Microsoft has an answer to the problem. After the latest Windows update on my computer Jan 9 2022, my online games generally downloaded from the Microsoft store are no longer working (Candy Crush Saga & Mirrors of Albion in particular). The games start opening then shut down. They were working Jan 9 2022 before the update & Jan 10 after the update crash issues. What is in that update that caused the store to not recognise these as installed on my computer?
