I have some software installed that lets me remap my keyboard; this lets me create a mapping-configuration for my keyboard, which I can freely turn on or off, in which I can assign complex strings of keyboard shortcuts to any one key--as a macro-shortcut--for use in a coding text-editor like Visual Studio. Unfortunately I sometimes forget to turn the mapping-configuration off before I begin typing again outside of the coding text-editor, which means I'll press a key and suddenly a whole string of random instructions will be given to the PC because by pressing that key I have actually activated
