OneNote stored in One Drive not syncing between Thinkpad and Surface?

I suspect that depending on which device I created the notebook in (Thinkpad or Surface), the files were saved to different locations in One Drive. How do I integrate all the folders into one location that sycs the same between the Thinkpad and the Surface? I possibly have Windows 10 on one devise and 365 on the other.Thanks,Helen
