Fans go crazy out of nowhere and I see multiple instance of same processes for everything in task manager

Like the subject states. My fan start going crazy out of nowhere so I check the task manager only to find out there are multiple processes of every program was running. Like my browser has 10 instances when i have 2 tabs open, 6 instances of steam webhelper, 6 instance of discord, 30 instances of svchost, etc.What might be causing this problem? I think it is a problem because I've never seen this happen before.
