Windows 10, constant pinging sound on my PC, identified the sound as "notify" . Is there any way to shut it off without muting all my sound?

Constant pinging sound on PC, the sound is identified as "notify", but no visual notification, just a constant, though random ping. What can i do to stop this insidious sound?
