Cannot connect to RDP after Changing MFA method to Accept Code instead of Notification

Hello All,our IT Security decided to disable the Notify me through the Phone authentication method which only left us with the option to manually enter the code from the MS Authenticator App or wait for text. now since that was turned off we can no longer connect to Remote Desktop. i have checked with our infra which advised that Remote desktop doesnt support this authentication method as it doesnt have an interface to enter the code. are there any other options to allow this or applications that we are not aware of?Thank yousorry , couldnt find a specific category for thisError code: 0x503317
