Connecting Multiple Displays Issue

I have a GT 710 with one HDMI port and the other on my motherboard. When I plug in both the cables to the 2 monitors only one display shows up and the second one is detected but says no signal When I extend the displays it applies the settings and the mouse also goes to the other screen but it says no signal on the monitor
