Where on earth is the (Malicious Software Removal) Tool?

Soo,
I searched the Security Center, the Program Folder, the Control Panels, the
Start menu and read the whole KB article and I still have no idea where I
can find and start the downloaded, local Malicious Software Removal Tool,
which, according to docs, should be on my computer. (Same situation WAS with
an earlier version of the Transfer Manager!)

I´ve been dealing professionally with PCs for 27 (twenty-seven) years now
and I don´t regard myself as an idiot.

What do you conclude?

Thanks, Kayman,
I know where to find it online, but I´m stubborn enuf: If I automatically
download a new version every single month with the other bug fixes, I want
to KNOW where it´s locally and this is one example in case where the average
user should be able to take advantage, but it seems to take more than an
engineering degree...

Thanks, Grzegorz,
this is SOOO weird. Is Joe Average supposed to find it there or do I
automatically download it with the bug fixes each and every month to create
traffic and more traffic when I go to Live then anyway?

And it makes me sick if I see MRT´s "progress"-bar going back and forth, NOT
giving you the slightest idea how far it has got, just MAYBE telling this
damn thing doesn´t hang...

So did I - that's where it said it would download to when I first did it -
and with out a degree.
But a post way back in time suggested one can download to disc - burn it
then drag onto your desktop - that way you don't have to search for it.
And, get rid of any others previously downloaded was also a suggestion.
Cant remember why - I think there was one occasion when a new update clashed
with the previously installed - but I get rid of the previous by delete to
the bin.
Its one of those self opening cab things - that's why it never shows in
Add/Remove like some have expected.

In addition, MRT does not need any registry settings, environment variables,
etc. to work. Hence, there is no need for
a dedicated removal procedure. You just delete it. All that MS does when
it installs MRT is to copy it to the folder.
