PC notifies me of 'Scan drive for errors' and removes all recent files - Windows 10

My Dell XPS PC has been doing this now for several weeks.It operates normally otherwise, but often daily it randomly pops up a 'Scan drive for errors' notification at some point during the day. I know then that when I next reboot, the files I've saved will usually be lost.So far I have:- re-installed Windows 10, - performed a Command line ChkDsk in Safe Mode - deleted numerous user profiles in C:\Users eg 'defaultuser100000'- run 'fsutil dirty query c' and 'd'Can anyone help? This is driving me mad as I'm having to back up every single document as I use it to an external drive...aarrgghh!Than
