Some synthesiser blocks I have can have their firmware updated via USB from Windows. The process is - connect the block via USB, turn it on, unplug it and reconnect. It then appears in Explorer as "CRP DISBLD" and its firmware can be updated.I'm finding this works once, but if I want to repeat the process I have to reboot Windows, I can't get "CRP DISBLD" to reappear in Explorer and Device Manager shows a USB Mass Storage device in error. This used to work fine. Is there likely to be a better work around than rebooting the PC?
