Shared printer is printing a blank page.

I have a printer connected with my desktop CPU with a USB cable and then I enabled the share option and installed it on my Laptop. Now when I print from my desktop everything works fine but when I try to print from the laptop a blank page is printed every time and it doesn't print blank page immediately it takes like 30 to 50 secs to print the blank page.Both my devices have Windows 10 installed and all the latest updates are installed.The same printer works fine on a windows 7 laptop.
