Windows Update causes static in headset when plugged into a game controller...any solutions?

This has been going on for @6 mos (maybe more).Previously I would just uninstall the update and everything would work fine again but now I'm getting an error and can't uninstall the update. I can't uninstall using CMD/Powershell either.I've updated drivers/restarted my PC multiple times/ways.If anyone could share a solution it would be appreciated.
