Since 21H2 Update to Windows 10, Excel Not Opening Documents Normally

I have two problems with Excel now that I've updated Windows; one is that when I have my normal working set of several DIFFERENT invoice excel files open, that they are not visible on the taskbar anymore. Normally, I would see a pop out menu allowing me to select which doc I want to display. Now it's just the excel logo and it opens whatever is at the top of the stack.The other is that when I close one document out, the next time I restore Excel, it's closed all the other documents I had open in separate windows. When I try to open anew any document, I get this error.But the doc is not read on
