Why Windows warning wouldn't appear when copy the same folder in same place

Hi, I have copied photos from older 2TB external drive to new 4TB external drive but by mistake I copied one folder in the same drive (old one) and it got copied without any warning such as do you overwrite/skip (my OS is in Japanese). As you can seen in the screen shot the second folder is a copy. I wonder why I did not get warning? Nothing has changed in my computer recently. Do I need any settings.Any help or suggestion will be appreciated.Thank you
