I have a wifi network with no internet access. I want to use it to reach local devices on LAN (so internet access is not even needed). Meanwhile I use an ethernet cable connection to access the internet. So obviously I connect to this wireless network, but windows for some reason decides to disconnect from it in about 30 seconds or so, dropping my connection. I seem to have no option to be able to stop this. How can you make Microsoft or Windows understand that wifi does not equal internet access?
