I have an HP Laptop running Windows 10. Up until recently (a couple of updates ago) the touchpad would automatically disable when a USB mouse was installed. However, now it doesn't disble on startup. I have checked the settings, and the disable box is checked. I have also checked in the registry and that shows correctly too. If I go to settings, select touchpad and additional settings, the touchpad immediately disables and stays that way until the next time I restart the laptop. Any clues?
