I have been trying to create a recovery drive for my Asus 703 laptop running win 10. I cloned the previous 256 gb ssd to a new samsung 500 gb ssd and wanted to create a recovery drive and cannot (stalls or get message recovery files not there) so want to repair the win 10 OS on the new drive. I still have the original 256 and the usb ssd connector so wondered if I could somehow use that on the Asus laptop by connecting it by usb to create the recovery drive that could be used to repair the 500?As I'm not a techie but have some knowledge so step by step please how to go about it once 256 ssd i
