Why has Microsoft not yet been able to fix the issue with certain 3rd party programs automatically changing the volume of your mic?

And please don't just give me all the regular troubleshoot options. Those do not help. Some 3rd party programs (EVEN MICROSOFT EDGE) will adjust the volume of your microphone and there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY to fix this problem. It seems ridiculous that this issue still has not been solved. I've read through 100's of forums about this and the final answer is always that there is no solution yet. Microsoft is one of the biggest companies in the world.
