File Explorer will intermittently Hang and will become completely unresponsive. Event Viewer will not show an Error until Restart by Task Manager. This has been happening for about two years since version 1909 when the Windows Search and File Explorer were attempted to be combined. The intermittent Hang always occurs just as you click the Search box and at least one Note Pad Text file from the selected folder is open. My ATI Radeon HD 4200 video driver was installed by Windows Update in fall of 2015 and is the only Driver available. Here is the Event Viewer for the latest File Explorer Re
