I have been trying to allow this update to install for five days. It has failed every time.Things I have done:1) All DISM commands recommended and sfc scannow have been run. No result.2) Reset Windows Update as recommended per tenforum's .bak file run. Stalls in deletion of files.3) Manual deletion of update files and new attempt made. No result.4) Download of the manual update file from Microsoft performed. Attempt at manual update made. Stalls overnight.What I note is that even when wuauserv and bit are turned off, they restart without a prompt.So, what now? By the way, I am a freelance edit
