windows 10 slower to respong to things when gen 2 airpods connected

for some reason windows 10 seems to be slower to respond to things when my generation 2 airpods are connected.I have tried to unpair and reset the airpods then repair, restart windows 10, reset settings, uninstall drivers, but none of those worked.
