After Login screen the desktop is black, but everything else seemingly still works.

My problem:After typing my pin on the login screen, I enter a black screen where only my cursor is visible. I cannot click anything. No task bar is visible or can be interacted with. The same is true for any icons. What I can do is press ctrl + alt + delete to enter the task manager. From there I can enter the file explorer by selecting a process and clicking 'file path' and from there I can open any program I wish (this is how I opened my internet browser to write this post).I can also access the internet options menu this way.I rebooted my laptop, but this did not solve the issue.Is this a c
