This is probably old & tired but I'm going to post about it again. Microsoft are you serious about supporting your products? The Windows 10 Photos app is still hopelessly broken since you took away the ability to have the transferred photos sorted into year-month folder names & won't recognise already transferred photos so only offers to transfer all or selected again. I know personally that this issue started back in mid 2018 & I can't believe it's still not fixed after all these years.
