Windows 10 not recognising admin access on the only user account on the machine

I'm trying to delete a folder on my hard drive but windows gives me a Folder Access Denied error. This is the only user on my computer. I've never had any issues like this before. As shown below, this is indeed the only user on the device. The account is an administrator, as shown in the control panel/User Accounts/User AccountsI've tried changing permissions under the Security tab in the properties window on the folder in question.
