I am running Windows 10 on a desktop. I have been running this computer off of a small 250gb SSD for a few years now. But the past couple weeks I have developed a problem where my PC will randomly lock up for about a minute and the disk usage will shoot to 100%. However, it appears that nothing is actually using the disk during these spikes as shown in the screenshot.So far, I have tried: disabling superfetch, disabling Message Signaled Interrupt, set pagefile max to 1.5x of system ram, scanning with crystaldisk (it shows the disk at a perfect score), running the dism and sfc scan utilities.In
