I have a Windows Storage Server 2012 R2 with one SSD drive for the OS and two HDD for data.Booting from the SSD suddenly failed, indicating a kernel error which I was unable to resolve and due to lacking the installation media for Storage Server 2012 I created a new installation of Windows 10 with the intention to access the data drive and copy the files to an external USB drive before scrapping the old hardware.
