We have a Group Policy Preference implemented which copies a preconfigured HOSTS file from a network share to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts.This worked perfectly until recently. We know that this is because of KB5017308 recently deployed (see follow-up post below).The GPO file copy runs in the Computer context (not User), via Computer Configuration, Preferences, Windows Settings, Files.One workaround proposed by some (change action from Replace to Update) does not fix the issue.Another workaround proposed by others (uncheck "Run in logged-on user's security context" box) is not r
