Headphones audio becomes all distorted and wavy when plugging it into a new device.

I plug my headset into my laptop, It worked on my chromebook perfectly fine, but when I plugged it into my laptop, then a few hours later I plugged it out and back into the chromebook, The audio became all distorted and wavy, My laptop is a ASUS R500V and my chromebook is a Lenovo Chromebook E11, The operating system I use is Windows 10, and this has happened to multiple sets of headphones, Just didnt know where to post it.The audio becomes normal only when using on the ASUS R500V.Please respond quickly!EDIT/UPDATE: If I plug it in most of the way the audio becomes normal but this is a tempora
