In early October 2022, my Window 10 machine misbehaved after a dreaded Windows update. The Task Bar was missing when I moved the cursor to the bottom of the screen but after around 30 second of leaving the cursor at the bottom of the screen, the Task Bar might eventually pop up (or clicking right or left mouse button - hard to determine with the system too slow). Ditto using the Windows key combinations like WIN + I to launch the Settings menu (then with a blue background) - took forever and had to wait, Wait, WAIT without touching the keyboard or mouse clicks.
