I upraged my GPU from a GTX 980 to a RX 6600 recently and I had a setup of main monitor (DisplayPort modern monitor [ASUS MG248QR]) and a second old monitor (VGA [HP LE1901w}). I all workd fine when I had the GTX 980, meaning that I had signal with max resolution and framerate in on both monitors, main with DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable and second monitor with DVI to VGA (2 cables with a cheap adapter in between). All ran fine, not a single compatible early problem or what so ever.So I upgraded to the new GPU (RX 6600) and now I had to buy a different adapter since the new GPU doesn't have
