Had to repost since my first question received only one reply and no followup, and now I have more details anyway. I have been searching this forum and found there's quite a bit of those with same or similar issues.My Windows 10 pc had went into partial sleep mode when my external HDD was plugged into a USB. When I woke it back up, and clicked icon to safely remove, got a message saying the device isn't recognized. The icon to safely eject isn't there now so how can I safely eject the HDD?? So I tried restarting my PC (device still plugged into USB port) but that didn't change anything. The H
