Why can't my monitor resolution be adjusted any higher than 1920x1080 after the last system update?

I have a Dell Latitude 5420 and an LG 34 inch ultra widescreen monitor. I am using a 4k HDMI capable dock and an HDMI 2.0 cable and the equipment has not been changed. Before I installed the last system update on 10/31/2022, my screen resolution was set to 2560 x 1080 and worked with no issues. After the update completed, the maximum resolution presented is 1920x1080. The device manager showed the monitor listed as a generic, so I installed the driver for the specific monitor model (LG 34WL60TM-B.AUS) and power cycled, but the max resolution is still stuck at 1920x1080. I am not presented
