How to stop Media Player opening when I connect my mobile phone

I have a Samsung A5 2017 model mobile which I have been using to download photos that I've taken...been using it in Windows 10 on same P for several years...now after a fresh install of Windows 10 Home 21H2 Build 19044.2130 when ever I plug my mobile in...up pops the Windows Media Player...I don't want to use it, I never have...all I want is to be able to use Explorer to browse to my Pics folder on the phone and download selected pics.How do I stop Media Player from taking over?
