My Dell Latitude running Windows 10 was updated overnight automatically, and when I started it this morning it got stuck in what seemed like a boot loop (starting, shutting down, and restarting without showing anything on the screen). When that broke, it tried to scan the disk automatically. I did not allow it, fearing additional errors. I got the OS loaded and discovered that the audio was completely broken, the time was 4 days out of date despite being connected to the internet, and that there was a prompt telling me to restart and correct disk errors.
