Recently had a power outage which appears to have corrupted some windows system files. At first I was getting hard crashes after a few minutes of being logged in. I did a system restore and that has made the problem worse. Now I get a bsod with the "critical process has died" error. Booting in safe mode also gets the bsod error screen. So far I have followed these steps;1) system restore (which caused the bsod loop)2) run sfc /scannow. This returned a "Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation"3) chkdsk did not find any errors4) DISM (checkhealth, scanhealth and res
