My touchpad cursor disappeared and tried re-installing the drivers, but it says the device is working properly. What else can I try?

I have an ASUS Windows 10 laptop. My touchpad cursor disappeared and I tried re-installing the drivers, but it says the device is working properly. I went into System Settings and could not find a Trouble Shooter for the touchpad. (Thank goodness my touchscreen works, but I really need my cursor back!) Windows Update says I'm "Up to date". But, I see there is an "Optional Quality Update" available: 2022-11 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5020030). Would this help? Also, none of the optional driver updates listed seem to apply to my touchpad.
