I held the F8 key while my laptop was booting up trying to get it into safe mode. Now it wont turn on at all. What should I do?

My laptop had a trojan virus and windows defender wasn't removing it. So I was going into safe mode by pressing f8 while the laptop was restarting. Now it wont boot up at all. The laptop was around half battery when it shut down.I have a Lenovo ThinkPad T430 Running on windows 10. * Moved from Community Center
