Game crashes on new pc

I just got a new pc and I have been having games randomly crashing on me when I Check event viewer I get a error that says thisThe program _program name here_ version _version numbers here_ stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel.Event id 1002Please help
