I have wasted several hours trying in vain to follow microsoft guidance on how to stop the tentacles of OneDrive from redirecting what I need to be local and keeps trying to send everything to one drive against my will. I followed the instructions carefully, repeatedly and I am very, very upset. I do not have time to waste with this ****.I had to pass a dozen verifications, repeatedly, unlinked, stopped syncing and on and on, but then i go to unzip a local file and AGAIN!!!!! this parasite called OneDrive inserts itself in every path.C:\Users\Jon\OneDrive\Desktop\Gigabyte Window UtilityHHHEEE
