I am running windows 10 on a Dell XPS13 since of late apps on the task bar has started opening apps on its own. Windows defender reports say no virus

Windows 10 on Dell XPS 13 has started opening random application from the task bar. Windows defender reports that no malware or viruses are detected. Please help to get this sorted.
