I upgraded to a Motorola MG8702 modem/router combo a week ago, so that I could take advantage of a higher speed connection. I was previously getting about 35 mbps with an old Motorola modem and ASUS router. I ran a speed test after configuring the router, and it showed a 239 mbps download speed in 5.1 GHz, I did not do any speed tests in the ensuing days, because I didn’t think I had any reason to.
