Microsoft Office Jump Lists not working anymore

[Legal Eagle but no programmer]

I am running WIndows 10 (64 bit) and Office 2019 Standard. My jumplists still work for Web Browsers and WIndows Explorer but but not Office (Excel and Word) or adobe (photoshop, acrobat). It shows the old list including pinned items and the old history (which does not update anymore when I open new documents). When I try to click a pinned item in the jump list it says the item you selected is unavailable. It may have been moved ..... when I click remove the item from the list it doesn't work. I reinstalled office and it didn't fix the problem. I checked the registry and I don't have a '
