Redundant DC windows 2k3

Hi All,

I want to setting redundant DC in windows 2k3, so if one DC fail,
redundant/secondary DC will take over

could you give me how to setup/setting windows?

Pretty much all you do is run dcpromo on another windows2003 server and
promote it to a domain controller. You will want to have it as a dns server
also. Then set the dns servers on all your clients to both DC's and when one
is down dns will find the other.

there are 5 FSMO roles however that if a DC is down for a longer period of
time you woul dhave to consider spreading them out or forcefully assuming the
role on the surviving dc which can be iffy sometimes.
